Brü Chicago (West Loop)

Finding coffee shops within a specific range of where I work can be a bit difficult. Go too far off the beaten trail and you might as well take the day off. Too close, you don't get the feeling of separation between your WFH self and your work-from-office self. ​​

Brü Chicago in the West Loop is a different vibe from the Wicker Park location. It is far less busy, but still has creative fun drinks. They have their signature drinks such as the White Chocolate Lavender Mocha and also non-coffee options that include matcha, wellness shots, smoothies, and protein shakes. Spacious, decent internet speeds, and relatively affordable drinks, this coffee shop is a good spot.

I'm not usually the type to purchase food at coffee shops, but this location has sweet and savory crepes available for purchase. While I didn't get any today, if I had to guess which ones looked the best... I'd pick the spicy beef crepe for the savory and a banana Nutella for the sweet.

Next time, I'll try out their Popcorn Caramel Latte or their Biscoff Latte. I just happened to miss their season drink sign that was past their cash register. Something to note is that this shop is connected to Presidential Towers which is an apartment complex. I'm using their WIFI, but I'd get a VPN for yourself if you end up using your phone or computer at this location.
